AutoCAD Technician - Job Advertisement
Ennovate is a growing Energy Service Company (ESCO) located in
Aurora, Colorado that offers performance-contracting and building commissioning
services to institutional facility owners such as schools, colleges, and
hospitals. Projects offered to clients include lighting retrofits, direct
digital control upgrades, HVAC upgrades, variable speed drives, renewable energy
systems and many other beneficial energy retrofit solutions that improve
facility comfort and decrease utility and other operational costs. We are
currently seeking a engineering technician to support our design efforts in the
implementation of energy retrofits and HVAC renovation projects. The successful
candidate must possess expertise in AutoCAD 2006 and Building Systems and shall
be able to quickly plot drawings for bids from mechanical and electrical
contractors. In addition, the Engineering Technician being sought will generate
final as-built drawings for our clients once projects are completed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
[+] Gather mechanical and electrical
blue prints, scan and markup for preliminary HVAC and electrical remodel
designs.
[+] Work with design and energy
engineers on solution development and aid in development of solicitation
documents.
[+] Develop and maintain symbol
libraries and other drafting related administration.
[+] Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an Engineering Technician. As such, a formal engineering
degree is not necessary, however an Engineering Technical degree or Bachelor's
in Mechanical Engineering or related technical training will be considered a
plus. Experience with HVAC design, is required. Experience with AutoCAD is
necessary. Experience with AutoCAD Building Systems is desired. Experience and
knowledge of computer systems is necessary for this position. Ability to size
pumps and other HVAC equipment is a plus, not a requirement. |
