Project Manager - Job Advertisement

Ennovate is a young and growing Energy Service Company (ESCo) located in Aurora, Colorado that offers performance-contracting services to institutional facility owners such as schools, colleges, and hospitals. Projects offered to clients include lighting retrofits, direct digital control upgrades, HVAC upgrades, variable speed drives and many other beneficial energy retrofit solutions that improve facility comfort and decrease utility and other operational costs. We are currently seeking project manager to manage projects that will be implemented throughout the Rocky Mountain area. These projects include performance contracting, HVAC Upgrades, and new technology applications for schools, hospitals, government buildings and various other commercial facilities. The successful candidate will manage contractors to perform work for Ennovate's clients on budget and on schedule achieving superior customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

[+] Assist energy engineers in the development of pricing and constructability for new projects.

[+] Aid in preparation of statements of work for subcontractors to implement energy conservation measures.

[+] Walk contractors through prospective work to be performed in client's facilities.

[+] Develop final pricing spreadsheets for approval by senior staff

[+] Manage contractors to implement contracted projects within agreed upon time frame for agreed upon budget.

[+] Trouble-shoot and access HVAC problems and direct appropriate contractors to make necessary corrections.

[+] Commission HVAC systems and controls

[+] Measure and verify proper operation of HVAC and control systems at project completion.

[+] Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

MID LEVEL: BSME or related degree plus minimum of 2-5 years’ technical engineering, ESCo, project management and/or consulting experience in HVAC industry and HVAC controls systems, with demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify field HVAC needs (plus additional requirements noted below) OR extensive experience (10-15 years) in HVAC controls installation.

SENIOR LEVEL: BSME or related degree plus minimum of 10-15 years’ technical engineering, ESCo, project management and/or consulting experience in HVAC industry and HVAC controls systems, with demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify field HVAC needs (plus additional requirements noted below). This level will require experience in building retrofit project similar to projects currently being implemented by Ennovate.

REQUIREMENTS

[+] Exposure to facility operations and mechanical installation projects involving chiller and boiler plants, motors, VSDs, HVAC retrofit and distributed generation projects.

[+] Experience with HVAC Commissioning, Project Pricing and Contractor Management desired.

[+] Excellent written, and computer communication skills required.

[+] Particular experience using MS Excel spreadsheet application software

[+] Working knowledge of diverse facility HVAC systems

[+] Valid Drivers’ License issued by Colorado and in good standing.

[+] U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

[+] May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

[+] Ability to travel required. (Up to 40% Travel)
