Step 3 - Final Energy Engineering

This step is sometimes called the Detailed Energy Study (DES) or final technical energy audit (TEA).  In this step our energy engineers perform final energy engineering tasks to confirm costs and savings for measures approved in Step 2. Data logging of energy parameters, subcontractor solicitation for costs and final energy savings calculations are performed.  At the end of this process, we develop a final report that outlines the exact scope, cost and savings that will be performed.  In addition, a contract is prepared for implementation of measures included in the project.

Commitment Objective

The client is informed of detailed costs and savings as the project is developed.  The client may make changes to the scope or direction as update information becomes available in this process.

Financial Obligation

There is no financial obligation added to the obligations already committed in Step 2.
